Could a german King Tiger shell the M-1 Abrams tank armor?

If they were going head-to-head and the King Tiger super heavy german tank of WWII fired a shell at the M-1 Abrams, would it the armor? Let's say the range is nearly 1500 ft. And could the M-1's shell the armor of the King Tiger?
