Piercing question HELP?

i got my ears piercied and two of them are fine.then months later i very cleanly piercied my ear again, above the other one.It has been perfectly fine for months. No pain, swelling, pus.i just noticed that it looks fine in the front, but the back is kind of black, like a bruise. is it because i wore the stud to tight???
