I have a 80gal i have had it seens feb 2010 i had a t5 lighting but just recenty i got mh but i don't know if?

enough lighting for sps corals and if i should use the t5 and mh at the same time or t5 in the morning and off and turn on the mh mid morning and the t5 back on in the afternoon . my tank is 4ft long 181/2 inch wide and 221/2 tall my light is about 8 inch away from the top of the tank.
