I have a 90 gallon round tank and two adult freshwater Angels. Can I put them in with some discus?

I have the angels already and they are in with a school of rasbora. I have the round tank, a few feet in diameter, and a few feet tall, maybe 4 feet tall or more, stacked with driftwood and plants. I will be done cycling soon and the angels and rasbora will be going into it. I wanted to add a pair or small school of discus, but my friend told me that they are like sworn enemies and the angels and discus will only fight. Is that true? Can I not have discus with the angels because one type of fish will kill the other? I have had Discus many years ago and am very experienced with them, but I never tried both types of fish together.
