Canada: Petition regarding the newly-formed Coalition?
In the Canadian Parliamentary system, the party with the most seats, forms the government, their leader becomes the Prime-minister. If that party has less seats (voting members) than the opposition parties (a minority government), they are in danger of being voted down on a policy. If the government looses a vote, it is defeated, and an election is called. However, the opposition parties could join together to form a loose alliance or a coalition party, with enough seats to form the government, which is what the Liberal and NDP are trying to do with the help of the Bloque Quebecois. This could be a mess, the NDP's economic policies are weird, and the Bloque cannot be trusted. This alliance will fall apart in no time, wasting a lot of our time and money.
