Guitar calluses and swimming?

The calluses will naturally peel even if you don't swim. You have to play guitar on a regular basis to maintain them. Water speeds up the peeling process, but if you really want to keep them from peeling, you can use super glue on the calluses. This will keep them waterproof. Just be careful not to glue your fingers to anything (or together).
